About the Role
Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time Hosts to join our team at Lincoln Ristorante in New York, New York. As a Host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests and managing the host station.
Responsibilities
- Create seating charts by reviewing the floor plan and reservation book daily.
- Seat guests and manage wait times effectively.
- Ensure dining and serving areas are clean and properly set up.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address complaints, and thank them upon departure.
- Answer the restaurant telephone line during operating hours.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a guest service environment is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to remain on feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
