About the Role

As the deputy head of commercial controlling, you will take on a responsible role in steering and further developing our commercial processes. You will support the head of controlling in the professional and organizational leadership of the department and represent them in their absence.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as economic and multi-year planning.
Creating and further developing management reports, analyses, and meaningful key figures.
Conducting variance, profitability, and results analyses, and deriving recommendations for action.
Supporting budget planning and ongoing budget controlling.
Preparing and presenting controlling results for management, executives, and other decision-makers.
Further developing controlling tools, processes, and reporting systems.
Participating in strategic and operational projects, especially at the interface between medicine, nursing, and administration.
Close collaboration with accounting, billing, HR, and other internal departments.
Preparation and execution of statutory statistical reports.

Requirements

Completed degree in business administration, health management, controlling, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in commercial controlling, ideally in the healthcare sector.
Sound knowledge of business analysis and management.
Experience in creating and further developing reports, key figures, and planning systems.
Proficient MS Office skills, especially Excel; knowledge of SAP/BI systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as an independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
Excellent communication skills and a confident demeanor with various professional and hierarchical levels.
Enjoyment of collaboration in the interdisciplinary environment of the healthcare sector.
Initial leadership experience or demonstrable experience in the professional management of employees is desirable.
