About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Finance Manager to step into a newly created role. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of our Finance function. This role will require you to act as a strategic financial partner to the Founders / Executive Directors and the engineering and operational leadership, while also being hands-on to engage with our accounting software and daily financial operations. You will be supported by our existing payroll & accounts specialist.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic financial partner to the Founders / Executive Directors and the engineering and operational leadership.
- Engage with accounting software and daily financial operations.
- Ensure all the daily accounting and finance technology, processes and approvals are highly efficient, effective and compliant.
- Build out bottoms up cash forecasts.
- Ensure optimal financial oversight of inventory and supply chains.
- Provide insightful financial data and commercial recommendations to the leadership.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted working rights.
- Pre-employment screening, including background and police check as per AS 4811:2022 will be required.
