Assist an Australian financial institution with the structuring and negotiation of its merchant acquiring contract with major schemes. Act as the global subject matter expert, providing challenge, insight, relevant benchmarks, and structuring help.

Responsibilities

Develop a global best practice request for information/request for proposal document targeted at all major global schemes.

Requirements

Experience running RFIs/RFPs specifically in schemes on the acquiring side (Australia preferred, offshore peer markets considered).
10+ years of experience in merchant acquiring and general payments strategy and commercial negotiation.
5+ years in consulting to financial institutions on payments strategy, including acquiring.
