About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and launch the global CFP structured engagement model, standardizing business rhythms across all tiers to ensure uniform decision-making.
- Establish strict program accuracy by developing foundational artifacts from scratch, including charters, BRDs, RACI models, and detailed workflow charts.
- Govern performance through Data Center KPI scorecards, defining key metrics and clear escalation paths to address underperformance.
- Lead change management to promote proactive, high-velocity operational planning, continuously refining and scaling processes to support business growth.
- Deploy AI/ML technologies to solve complex problems, automate administrative tasks, and deliver scalable business impact.
Requirements
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity to define and drive cross-functional programs in large work groups that span multiple teams.
- Possess advanced planning, continuous improvement, organizational change, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving and data analytics.
Experience Level
- 8 years of experience in program management at data centers, manufacturing, oil and gas, or other 24x7 operations.
- 10 years of experience in program management at data centers, manufacturing, oil and gas, or other 24x7 operations.
Education Level
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Salary/Compensations
- US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
