About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Veterinarian to join our team at the Small Animal Center Hermsdorf. Our modern practice in Berlin-Hermsdorf is dedicated to the well-being of our four-legged patients, offering comprehensive care with a team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and trainees.
Responsibilities
- Independent care and treatment of animal patients under the guidance of experienced colleagues
- Performing general examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
- Assisting and participating in surgeries and perioperative care
- Advising and supporting pet owners with empathy
- Collaborating within a motivated team
- Documenting treatments and providing careful patient care
- Supporting the practice team
Requirements
- Completed veterinary medicine studies with initial professional experience, ideally with a focus on surgery and internal medicine
- Enthusiasm for work and openness to new things
- Enjoyment of daily interaction with pet owners
- Interest in long-term employment and continuous development
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to independently conduct consultations
- Passion for working with animals and people
- Desire to be part of something lasting
