About the Role
As a Product Engineer within an autonomous Pod, you will leverage advanced AI orchestration to design, build, test, and ship product features at an accelerated pace. This high-velocity role requires directing AI to generate and verify production-ready code, focusing on outcomes and precision.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AI agents (Claude, Cursor, Pi AI) as the primary development tool.
- Translate product briefs into end-to-end working software, including design and deployment.
- Maintain a prompt log detailing AI interaction, challenges, and solutions.
- Write and rigorously test AI-generated test suites to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Proactively identify and address AI output issues such as hallucinations, logic gaps, and edge cases.
- Participate in team rituals and explore new AI techniques to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience shipping production software using AI tools.
- Proficiency in writing precise prompts and iterating based on AI output.
- Ability to measure success by shipped value and impact, not time spent coding.
- Treat AI as a collaborator, capable of identifying its limitations and errors.
- Strong engineering fundamentals to assess the structural integrity of AI-generated code.
- Comfortable iterating from a brief to a final solution without a perfect initial specification.
- Ability to discern when to trust AI output and when to perform manual code review and architecture adjustments.
