About the Role
Build modern cloud-based data solutions to detect, monitor, and prevent financial crime at scale. Influence architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction across a rapidly growing platform using AWS. Help shape the future of data-driven financial crime reporting and insights used across the bank. Do work that matters.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy complex enterprise-level Microservices-based applications.
- Work across modern AWS data technologies including MWAA, Lambda, AWS MSK, Redshift, Iceberg, and Snowflake.
- Transform complex data into trusted products that support critical business decisions and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, and high-quality data solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of our cloud data ecosystem.
- Contribute to triage of production and test environment issues.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery cycle including requirement gathering, documentation, design, build, test, and release.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex distributed systems at scale.
- Strong hands-on software engineering capability and a passion for solving challenging technical problems.
- Experience building microservices architectures within cloud-native environments.
- Strong architectural and systems design skills.
- A track record of mentoring engineers and influencing technical decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on engineering delivery.
- A growth mindset and curiosity for emerging technologies and engineering practices.
