About the Role
Support the Communications team by producing on-brand visual content for social, digital, media, internal channels and more. This role turns messages and briefs into clear, engaging graphics — infographics, social posts, video graphics, and edited photography — working under the direction of communications leads to keep content consistent, timely, and audience-ready.
Responsibilities
- Design social-first graphics and post templates for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube and X, sized and adapted for each format
- Build simple infographics and data visualizations that translate information into clear, accessible visuals
- Create lower-third titles, captions, thumbnails, and supporting graphics for video content
- Perform photo editing, retouching, cropping, and color correction for use across social and communications channels
- Adapt and resize existing assets into multiple layouts, formats, and channel specifications
- Apply and maintain brand guidelines across all deliverables to ensure visual consistency
- Support the wider team on presentations, email graphics, signage, and event collateral as needed
- Deliver assigned design tasks accurately and on deadline, incorporating feedback through multiple rounds of revision
- Keep files, versions, and asset libraries organized and correctly named
- Collaborate with communications, social, and creative colleagues to understand each brief before starting work
- Flag risks to timelines or quality early and proactively ask for direction when scope is unclear
- Stay current on social platform formats, trends, and creative best practices
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field — or an equivalent portfolio demonstrating comparable skill
- 5+ years of design experience, including internships, freelance, or academic project work
- Portfolio demonstrating social graphics, infographics, and layout work across multiple formats
- Experience designing for social media
- Strong visual eye for typography, layout, color, and hierarchy
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage several small projects at once
- Receptive to feedback and eager to learn from senior team members
- Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.
