About the Role
Docusign is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Envelopes team, focusing on building the next generation of Docusign's Agreement Platform. The role involves creating highly scalable, performant, and secure services with a focus on core e-sign functionalities, envelopes, and recipients. You will tackle complex problems, leverage AI for productivity, implement solutions, and enhance system scale and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-scale services.
- Design and build scalable database and service solutions for new features.
- Develop new features and APIs to enhance Docusign's customer development platform.
- Utilize telemetry systems to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
- Guide and mentor other engineers through design and code reviews.
- Design and architect for future scalability and failure scenarios.
- Break down complex problems into manageable tasks and deliver iteratively.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost team productivity.
- Stay current with development best practices and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant professional software development experience.
- Fluent in at least one core programming language (C#, Java) and its ecosystem.
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable distributed systems.
- Operational experience in performance monitoring, live site monitoring, and on-call rotations.
- Experience with AWS or Azure.

- California: $164,700.00 - $266,000.00 base salary
- Washington: $158,300.00 - $232,575.00 base salary
