About the Role

This 12-week summer internship offers a unique opportunity to actively participate in the operations of a fast-paced, multi-million-dollar distribution center. Interns will gain exceptional experience through on-the-job training, project management, and mentorship from leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Learn from and shadow distribution leaders.
  • Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of the distribution model.
  • Participate and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide insights and collaborate with business partners and leaders.
  • Actively participate in advising specific functions within the Distribution Center.
  • Manage and lead a process improvement project supporting a key facility/organizational initiative.
  • Present final project findings to US executive leadership.
  • Rotate through all functions of the distribution center, including warehouse operations, transportation, restaurant services/customer service/field service, inventory, and human resources.
  • Function as lead person on specific projects.
  • Actively participate in internship program training activities, developmental opportunities, and events.
  • Gain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen.
  • Complete business-specific projects and tasks in a timely manner.
  • Undertake other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
