About the Role
This role involves identifying cost-saving and value-add opportunities, driving efficiencies in Enterprise Technology Procurement categories, and collaborating globally with colleagues and third-party service providers.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of selected spend across categories including software, cloud, and managed service providers.
- Development of global frameworks with favorable contractual terms.
- Running RFx and competitive sourcing exercises for high-value, high-risk projects.
- Implementing global rate cards and incorporating requirements from Legal, Data Privacy, Security Assurance, and Vendor Due Diligence.
- Expected line management responsibility for a Procurement Specialist.
- Balancing multiple initiatives concurrently, prioritizing by business criticality.
- Collaborating with internal business leaders, including Global, Regional & C-Level Executives, to deliver value-add Procurement solutions.
Requirements
- Substantial Procurement experience managing technology spend categories.
- Strong understanding of different software, cloud, and AI commercial models.
- Demonstrable experience negotiating commercial models, mitigating risks, and driving commercially sound outcomes into contracts.
- Strong experience negotiating global or multi-country contracts.
- End-to-end knowledge of third-party vendor engagement for a large, multi-national organization.
- Demonstrated delivery against the strategic sourcing process.
- Line management experience.
