About the Role
This role is an opportunity to design and deliver efficient, customer-focused services that enhance accessibility, sustainability, and quality of living. Sydney Metro is seeking a Commercial Officer to provide high-level business support and ensure the efficient functioning of the commercial team, with a focus on contract management support for major infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level business support and ensure the efficient functioning of the commercial team.
- Provide contract management support, including claims and disputes.
- Administer complex payments under a PPP contract.
- Assist with procurement, financial management, and reporting.
- Manage registers and perform daily Teambinder administration.
- Draft change control procedure papers, modification notices, and briefing notes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated administration experience with high attention to detail and the capacity to complete several tasks concurrently, ideally within a contract administration setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and be responsible and accountable to complete tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and political sensitivity in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience or a background in project management, engineering, finance, business, or law is beneficial but not necessary.
