About the Role
The Manufacturing Specialist will be involved in the production of medical devices such as ultrasonic probes and CT detectors, aiming to produce products safely, with high quality, and delivered to customers on time. There are also assignments to various teams within the Manufacturing Division, such as manufacturing line leader, production control, manufacturing technology, and EHS, where you will gain diverse knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to stable production and stable shipments, and improve productivity through improvement activities based on lean manufacturing.
- Assembly, inspection, and adjustment of products on the manufacturing line.
- Identification of problems in the manufacturing process and proposal of solutions.
- Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
- Compliance with quality control standards and participation in quality improvement activities.
- Accurate creation and management of manufacturing records.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations and maintenance of a safe working environment.
- Collaboration and communication with the manufacturing team.
- Standardization and efficiency improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Collaboration with related departments (design, engineering, etc.).
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher (graduation from an industrial department is desirable).
- Problem-solving ability and a team-oriented attitude.
- Communication skills in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
Skills
- More than 2 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Basic knowledge of quality control.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing.
- Communication skills in English.
