About the Role
Manufacturing Specialists are responsible for producing medical devices such as ultrasonic probes and CT detectors, ensuring safe, high-quality products are shipped to customers on time. Opportunities exist within various teams in the manufacturing division, including production line leadership, production control, manufacturing technology, and EHS, allowing for the acquisition of diverse knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to stable production and shipping, and improve productivity through improvement activities based on lean manufacturing principles.
- Assembly, inspection, and adjustment of products on the manufacturing line.
- Identify problems in the manufacturing process and propose solutions.
- Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
- Compliance with quality control standards and participation in quality improvement activities.
- Accurate creation and management of manufacturing records.
- Compliance with safety and health regulations and maintenance of a safe working environment.
- Collaboration and communication with the manufacturing team.
- Contribution to the standardization and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
- Collaboration with related departments (design, engineering, etc.).
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher (preferably in an industrial field).
- Over 2 years of practical experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of quality control.
- Problem-solving ability and a team-oriented attitude.
- Communication skills in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Experience in medical device manufacturing is desirable.
- Communication skills in English are desirable.
