About the Role
This entry-level position is for a Duck Creek Configurator/Analyst who will learn the concepts and skills through formal training or equivalent experience, following internal policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates ability to communicate with business representatives.
- Understands simple business requirements and relates them to supporting system requirements, producing simple technical configuration specifications.
- Configures and maintains Duck Creek components, business rules, forms, and workflows.
- Performs unit and system testing using approved test plans and scripts.
- Reviews test results with the business and makes necessary adjustments.
- Obtains approval and submits documentation for migration to test and production environments.
- Identifies and rectifies configuration issues quickly with initiative.
- Records time and status for billing and tracking.
- Responds promptly to production issues by participating in on-call rotation for 24-hour support.
- Assists with maintaining documentation related to Duck Creek configuration changes, testing results, and deployment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning or equivalent professional experience.
- Two to five years of experience.
- Successfully complete insurance industry training courses.
- Full understanding of software and system fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of business rules configuration, testing practices, and system implementation concepts.
- Exposure to or willingness to learn Duck Creek technologies.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
