About the Role
This role involves WAYBILL ADMINISTRATION, analyzing cargo information accuracy, screening Importer of Record details, performing data entries into AS 400, and maintaining an accurate filing system. The position requires coordination with relevant personnel to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of quality results.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes accuracy of information for cargo control #, quantity, weight location, office # etc.
- Screens to verify if Importer of Record (IOR) has a broker or if it is a FTNC account
- Performs data entries and updates information required by customs into AS 400 upon confirmation that there is no broker or FTNC account
- Maintains accurate filing system and processes them according to their priority.
- Flags any issues and coordinates with relevant personnel to resolve them
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum 1 year of experience with customs clearance, AS 400 and data entry
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver quality results
Skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, AS 400 system, and office equipment (fax machine / photocopiers / printers / scanners) and Lotus Notes
