About the Role

Govern the design and integration of complex power generation and industrial electrification systems. Bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, leading the architecture from concept through to commissioning. Act as the primary technical coordinator, ensuring systems meet high-performance standards in safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and standardize reference architectures for power generation, data centers, microgrids, and hybrid plants.
  • Lead the integration of "inside-the-fence-line" assets (Gas Turbines, BESS, STATCOMs, substations, and electrical gear).
  • Define system baselines, interface definitions, and validation strategies (FAT/SAT).
  • Partner with internal business units (Grid, Gas Power, Digital) and external stakeholders to drive technical alignment.
  • Review power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash) to ensure design integrity.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, advancing systems engineering best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power Systems, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • 12–15+ years of experience in power generation, EPC projects, or transmission & distribution infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of “inside-the-fenceline” equipment and industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, IEC, NERC, NFPA).
  • Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex technical interfaces.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
