About the Role
The Corporate Sales Department 6 primarily focuses on providing services to foreign-affiliated companies in Japan, including managing overseas global insurance programs, offering risk management solutions, and collaborating with overseas offices.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and improvement proposals for existing insurance contracts.
- Proper operation of global insurance programs in collaboration with overseas offices.
- Risk analysis for major clients, including natural disasters (e.g., PML analysis).
- Development of new business.
- Promotion of business partnerships with new partners.
- Local placement, including niche insurance types.
- Negotiation of insurance terms with home country risk managers.
Requirements
- Experience in corporate sales at an insurance company, broker, or agent.
- Communication skills to build good relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
- English communication skills (email communication is a must).
- PC skills: Excel (function utilization, chart creation, simple macro creation, etc.), Word, PowerPoint (creation of proposals with high design capability).
- Experience in insurance business in project-related fields is preferred.
- Experience in insurance business in franchise-related fields is preferred.
- Ability to think and act independently; a self-starter.
