About the Role

Unique opportunity to join the RBA's Payments Operations Program, strengthening Australia's national payments infrastructure and critical IT and business systems. This role focuses on delivering the implementation of the Knowledge Management and Training workstream for IT and Payments Settlements staff supporting RITS.

Responsibilities

Deliver the implementation of the Knowledge Management and Training workstream.
Maintain the project schedule.
Ensure POP team and other Bank staff complete allocated tasks on schedule.
Track the workstream budget.
Manage and direct external professional services staff.
Contribute to business and change management artefacts.
Represent the workstream in internal RBA meetings and forums.
Work closely with the broader POP team, an external professional services firm, and relevant staff in Payments Settlements, IT, RM, EPMO, Procurement, and Knowledge departments.
Collaborate with multiple high performing teams committed to team goals and deliverables.

Requirements

Strong expertise and experience in project lead / project manager roles.
Outcomes driven with a strong delivery focus.
Experience working in a matrix organisation structure.
Stakeholder engagement and communication across executive, delivery, and support teams.
Experience working in cross-functional teams including IT, operations, risk, and compliance.
Strong communication and writing skills with proven stakeholder management experience.
Experience in prioritising and working in a deadline-oriented environment.
Strong team player to work with multiple collaborative teams.
Familiarity of banking or payment systems is desirable.
