About the Role
This role will primarily manage two programs: the SARP/ESC Sustainability Ambassador Cycle and monthly EUI/WDR data analysis. You will also serve as the point of contact for the Japan region for the WW Employee Engagement team within Worldwide Operations Sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage monthly sustainability ambassador cycles across all JP AMZL Delivery Stations.
- Distribute action items to sites, manage progress, and report on results.
- Update ESC member lists and share best practices among sites.
- Analyze energy and waste data.
- Create monthly EUI reports and share them with relevant teams.
- Conduct site-specific WDR analysis, identify underperforming sites, and propose improvement actions.
- Provide leadership with reports summarizing trends and specific action plans.
- Plan and produce bilingual content.
- Create and distribute weekly sustainability tips (English/Japanese).
- Produce monthly training materials (English/Japanese) on themes such as energy management, waste reduction, and water resource conservation.
- Collaborate with cross-site stakeholders.
- Communicate daily on Slack channels, collaborating with DS leaders, DSMs, RMEs, SEs, EAPs, and external vendors to drive problem-solving.
- Coordinate with the WWOS WW Employee Engagement team for the execution of Japan-specific programs.
- Provide input for reports, accept annual actions, and localize Peak SOPs for Japan.
- Launch new programs.
- Conceptualize and nationally deploy at least one new sustainability program annually, inspired by SARP activities at each DS.
Requirements
- Practical experience in program coordination, project management, or operations support.
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Experience in data analysis and report creation using tools like Excel.
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
