About the Role
We are seeking an Employee Relations / Labor Relations Manager to join our German EXR Team. This role is crucial for fostering constructive relationships with employee representatives and advising on labor activities to help Amazon navigate complexity.
Responsibilities
- Own the labor relations strategy for your scope within German Operations, from concept to execution.
- Advise and guide site leadership on employee representation matters, ensuring constructive engagement aligned with Amazon's values.
- Develop proactive approaches to emerging labor dynamics.
- Build trusted partnerships across HR, Legal, Internal Communications, and Public Relations for aligned messaging.
- Champion employee engagement by embedding fair, consistent, and transparent processes.
- Support programs and projects that strengthen the relationship between Amazon and its employee representatives.
Requirements
- Experience in employee relations, labor relations, human relations, or labor/employment law.
- Experience in change management and negotiation.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English (CEFR, C1).
- Experience analyzing metrics and assessing employee sentiment data to find root causes and develop plans.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills to establish partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate complex, international organizational structures.
