About the Role
The Work, Health and Safety Coordinator manages the Region WHS Portfolio, provides advice on resolving Work, Health and Safety (WHS) issues, and collaborates with commands/business units to promote safety systems and programs. This role proactively identifies trends, implements strategies to improve WHS compliance, and strengthens safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Manages the Region WHS Portfolio.
- Provides advice in resolving Work, Health and Safety (WHS) issues.
- Works closely with commands/business units to champion the implementation and understanding of safety systems and programs relating to WHS.
- Proactively identifies trends and issues.
- Implements or contributes to strategies to improve WHS compliance.
- Strengthens safety culture.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
- Successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
- Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
