About the Role
The S&P Global Energy Commercial and CX Graduate Program offers an 18-month journey starting with an intensive 5-week onboarding in London. The program focuses on building foundational knowledge of commodity markets, developing business skills, and learning about S&P Global Energy's data, research, and analytical products. Graduates will gain a holistic business perspective through rotations in customer success, sales, channel management, and marketing, while completing certifications and evaluations. The role supports the sales team to generate revenue and contributes to S&P Global Energy's mission of providing high-quality price assessments and analytical information to global financial and commodity markets.
Responsibilities
- Help clients understand how to navigate and extract useful data from the S&P Global Energy product range.
- Liaise with content, commercial, and technical teams to address client queries and ensure data quality.
- Proactively reach out to clients for face-to-face/virtual training in later stages of development.
- Conduct research on key energy and commodity market issues and present findings to colleagues.
- Support sales teams with research and proposals.
- Build account overviews and plans for strategic sales teams.
- Design data-driven models and templates for clients.
- Create marketing materials for commercial culture initiatives and future graduate cohorts.
- Participate in special project initiatives as determined by management.
Requirements
- Ability to join a class of new hires in late February 2027.
- BSc or BA degree, or equivalent.
- Fluent command of English.
- Proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable, particularly French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Good telephone manners and comfort presenting to large groups both in person and remotely.
- Familiarity with or strong interest in learning about financial and commodity markets.
- Good PC skills including the Microsoft Office product range.
- Well versed in Excel.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work independently.
- Willingness to learn and take on a wide variety of tasks.
- Proficiency in Generative AI technologies and ability to leverage these tools for innovative solutions will be highly valued.
