About the Role

This internship supports Market Intelligence Revenue efforts for new business and revenue retention initiatives, developing critical skills for careers in MI revenue sales and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage prospecting efforts, including marketing leads, new business campaigns, and customer upgrade campaigns.
  • Manage sales tasks within the CRM system.
  • Assist the sales team with booking meetings, preparing materials, and presenting.
  • Analyze territories and existing accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Broaden cross-asset knowledge across markets.
  • Broaden knowledge about the finance industry.
  • Learn product selling features and narratives.
  • Learn vital sales skills including lead generation, cold calling, pitching, negotiations, and contracting.

Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree or Msc in finance, economics, business, or a related field, to be completed no later than May 2028.
  • Strong interest in the financial services sector.
  • Goal and action-oriented, with the ability to work towards revenue targets in a business development environment.
  • Interest in solving client problems through financial market data solutions and analytical tools.
  • Experience in dealing with challenging situations, such as objection handling and overcoming gatekeepers.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
