About the Role
Applied Materials is seeking an individual to drive enterprise-wide AI adoption and culture-building, turning strategic intent into measurable workforce capability. This role will design and run programs to move employees from AI-curious to AI-proficient at the pace and scale required by a global technology manufacturer. This is an enterprise change initiative that the selected candidate will own.
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise AI literacy roadmap, defining multi-year curriculum strategy and translating it into a quarterly execution plan.
- Drive measurable capability gains by instrumenting program initiatives against a KPI framework and reporting findings to senior leadership.
- Design and deliver leader-facing workshops on Applied's AI tool stack, equipping managers and executives to model new working behaviors.
- Build and activate an AI Champion Network to accelerate adoption across business units.
- Lead change management efforts, proactively mapping adoption barriers and developing mitigation strategies.
- Partner with Legal, Security, Compliance, and Data Governance stakeholders to ensure program alignment with responsible-AI principles.
- Align and influence cross-functional stakeholders to secure buy-in, resources, and sponsorship from business unit leaders and senior executives.
- Frame program deliverables in terms of productivity improvement, operational efficiency, or competitive advantage.
- Iterate rapidly by collecting participant feedback, benchmarking against industry peers, and refining program design continuously.
Requirements
- Ability to run complex programs at enterprise scale, managing scope, stakeholders, timelines, and competing priorities.
- Skill in influencing without authority, building trust and alignment with senior leaders and functional partners.
- Aptitude for reading the organization, understanding unwritten culture, political dynamics, and decision-making patterns.
- Capability to anticipate second-order effects, mapping downstream risks and stakeholder implications.
- Proficiency in translating strategy into structured execution, from program charter to weekly status meetings.
- Confidence in facilitating executive workshops, designing and leading sessions with senior leaders.
- Ability to sustain energy and credibility across a long initiative, keeping stakeholders engaged and communicating wins clearly.

Experience Level
- 5+ years of program or change management experience inside a large, complex enterprise
- Experience in a technology, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environment is a plus
- Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating executive-level learning experiences
- Hands-on familiarity with enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent productivity AI platforms
- Experience training others to use AI tools is strongly preferred
- Exposure to responsible-AI or AI governance frameworks
- Experience building or scaling an ambassador, champion, or peer-network program across multiple business units
Salary/Compensations
- $96,000.00 - $132,000.00
