About the Role
As a Bid Manager, you will be the central control instance for our bidding process, ensuring the professional development of our bids from tender to contract award.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete tender process and monitor relevant platforms.
- Analyze customer requirements specific to bids and create precise bid calculations.
- Coordinate bids closely with sales, project management, management, and external partners.
- Provide necessary documentation and ensure bid quality, including compliance with specifications and deadlines.
- Collaborate with public procurement law specialists, present bids to clients, and coordinate contract negotiations.
- Support sales and partner management to leverage synergies and strengthen joint market development.
- Responsibility for the continuous improvement of the bidding process and adherence to uniform standards.
- Build a strong network with other bid management contacts internally and externally.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification with sound business knowledge.
- Several years of experience in bid creation and calculation, with the ability to confidently create complex customer bids.
- Expertise in bid documentation and stakeholder management to build productive relationships.
- Ideally, experience in the public sector and/or software environment.
- In-depth knowledge of public procurement law and its application.
- Strong negotiation skills to strategically represent company interests.
- Proficiency in requirements analysis and the use of presentation tools.
- Knowledge of quality management to ensure adherence to defined standards.
- Structured working method and the ability to continuously optimize processes.
- Appreciation for cross-functional collaboration to achieve business goals.
