About the Role
This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give students real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry. The program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027, and includes professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Manage the installation, operations, and maintenance of vertical equipment supporting flagship platforms.
- Assist with critical infrastructure planning and operations.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Kennewick Regional Data Center.
- Power planning, HVAC planning, Data Center architecture and resource allocation, Layer 1 cable installation / management.
Requirements
- Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree.
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
