About the Role

This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give students real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in their chosen field. The program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027. Interns will participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship, and experiences that help them grow personally and professionally.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting supplier research and market analysis to identify potential vendors for direct materials.
Support the preparation and coordination of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, including data collection and documentation.
Analyze supplier bids and quotations to compare pricing, terms, and quality factors.
Help maintain and update procurement databases, supplier lists, and spend analysis reports.
Support contract review processes by gathering relevant documentation and highlighting key terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, quality, and operations to gather requirements and ensure sourcing alignment.
Assist in tracking supplier performance metrics and maintaining scorecards.
Participate in supplier communication and follow-up to clarify quotes, delivery timelines, and contract terms.
Support preparation of presentations and executive summaries for sourcing reviews and decision-making.
Help ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with purchase order processing and requisition workflows as needed.
Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to support sourcing strategy development.
Document sourcing processes, lessons learned, and maintain organized records for audits and future reference.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline sourcing activities.

Requirements

Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree.
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
