About the Role

Manage and develop existing and new products/services, owning customer and colleague journeys. Develop product strategy, drive change, and make key decisions throughout the product lifecycle to achieve outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank, ensuring compliance with SLAs, regulations, and risk management.

Responsibilities

Develop customer-level strategies and solutions tailored to customer needs.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the Product/Proposition team, guiding stakeholders on product application and journeys.
Develop product propositions and/or service strategy, defining priorities and leading execution.
Develop commercial and business models by understanding financial drivers of the P&L.
Evaluate technical feasibility, legal compliance, and risks of new product development and launch.
Monitor market trends and analyze feedback from internal employees and customers through prototypes, user testing, and beta programs.
Manage comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments, including timelines, marketing, training, and communication.
Monitor key metrics such as adoption rates, usage patterns, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation.
Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.
Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements.
Escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
If managing a team: define jobs and responsibilities, plan for future needs, counsel employees, and contribute to pay decisions.
If leading specialists: influence department operations, balance short and long-term goals, and ensure budget/schedule requirements are met.
If a People Leader: demonstrate LEAD behaviours (Listen, Energise, Align, Develop) to create a thriving environment.
If an individual contributor: act as a subject matter expert, guide technical direction, lead collaborative assignments, and train/coach less experienced specialists.
Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership and senior management, on functional and cross-functional impacts.
Manage and mitigate risks through assessment in support of the control and governance agenda.
Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of organizational functions to achieve business goals.
Collaborate with other work areas for business-aligned support.
Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex alternative comparison.
Define problems and develop innovative solutions through in-depth analysis and interpretative thinking.

Own the lifecycle of finance admin delivery through embedded services products.

Requirements

Considerable traditional Product Management experience from Tech, SaaS, or FinTech organizations.
Disciplined product discovery.
Roadmap ownership.
Data-led prioritization.
Proven experience scaling customer-facing digital propositions.
Product ownership in Business Admin tools/journeys (Embedded Services) & API capabilities within the SME market.
Managing relationships with external partners.
Setting and executing roadmaps.
Work with Design and Engineers in scaled agile framework.
Data-led Product Management experience, ideally in FinTech, accounting software, analytics, cashflow forecasting or financial management tools.
Ability to define propositions that turn transactional data into actionable customer insights, engagement & value, and measurable commercial & business outcomes.
Experience using customer research, behavioral data, experimentation, and success metrics to iterate digital insight products from MVP to scale.
Experience driving commercial outcome from embedded services.
