About the Role

Sky Zone is seeking a passionate and skilled New Park Opening Trainer to ensure the successful launch of new park locations. This role involves delivering hands-on training, facilitating classes, and providing on-the-job support to corporate and franchise teams, playing a key part in operational readiness and guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead training sessions for all staff levels at new park openings, covering safety, guest service, operations, and team dynamics.
  • Provide hands-on training and real-time coaching to equip team members with necessary skills.
  • Support the execution and development of the Manager in Training (MIT) program.
  • Collaborate with park leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and assist with problem-solving during initial opening weeks.
  • Act as a liaison between franchise and corporate teams, ensuring alignment on operational procedures and training consistency.
  • Train park managers, team leads, and trainers to equip them to train their own teams post-opening.
  • Support the maintenance of up-to-date training materials, including manuals and presentations.
  • Provide feedback to the Training & Development Team on training effectiveness and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in a management or training role within the entertainment or recreation industry.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and coach individuals and teams.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, with overnight stays and potentially extended travel periods.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and conduct hands-on training.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
