About the Role

HSBC Global Private Banking helps high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients manage, grow, and preserve their wealth. We are seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a FX Product Manager to own and drive the end-to-end FX business for retail clients.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the end-to-end FX business for retail clients, with full accountability for growth and performance.
Drive growth across the full retail FX product suite, including cash FX, Dual Currency Investments (DCI), gold, and other structured and investment-linked FX avenues.
Identify and develop new FX opportunities and product avenues to diversify and deepen retail FX offering.
Lead and actively contribute to commercial campaigns and strategic projects that grow the FX book.
Identify and implement ways to use AI tools and data-driven insights to improve client targeting, product positioning, and business efficiency.
Lead the planning of campaigns, feature launches, and go-to-market initiatives to grow FX penetration and wallet share.
Collaborate closely with product, marketing, risk, and sales teams to bring campaigns and initiatives to life.
Stay on top of FX market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to spot new growth opportunities.
Support platform enhancements, ensuring smooth execution and timely issue resolution.
Maintain and improve local operating procedures, controls, and documentation.
Collaborate with technology and operations teams to identify opportunities for digitization and automation.
Deliver presentations and provide training for Relationship Managers (RMs) and specialists.

Requirements

Solid experience in Foreign Exchange business, including a strong understanding of FX derivatives.
Good understanding of the regulatory framework governing FX and retail banking products.
Eligible for registration under the MAS Representative Notification Framework (RNF).
A track record of driving commercial results in a client-facing or business-growth role.
Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable influencing across function.
Genuine curiosity about AI and technology, with a willingness to actively use it to drive smarter decisions and growth.
A team-player mindset — collaborative, supportive, and energized by shared wins.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Self-starter attitude with the ambition and drive to take ownership and deliver results.
Will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
