About the Role
The Production Supervisor at Qualitrol in Fairport, NY, oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe production while meeting quality standards and production targets. This role is part of Ralliant, combining the agility of a smaller company with the resources of a Fortune 500 organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality specifications
- Manage, train, and motivate production workers; foster a positive, productive work environment
- Monitor processes to meet quality standards; implement corrective actions when needed
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct inspections, and provide safety training
- Identify and implement efficiency gains, reduce waste, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen events)
- Track raw materials and finished goods; coordinate with procurement for timely material availability
- Maintain production data records; prepare and submit reports to the Plant Manager
- Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions
- Serve as a liaison between management and production staff, ensuring clear communication of goals, changes, and updates
Requirements
