About the Role
Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure for the company's growing Cloud and AI businesses. CSCP's vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale, with a mission to deliver the world's computer through an industry-leading supply chain. The Cloud Supply Chain Global Operations (CSGO) team specifically powers Microsoft's cloud by driving end-to-end supply chain strategy, planning, and operations for a global datacenter infrastructure, ensuring hardware availability for scalable and reliable cloud growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage manufacturing and fulfillment capacity to support global cloud expansion.
- Design and develop strategies and capabilities for new product operations, enhancing scalability and use.
- Establish key performance indicators and drive cross-organizational communication to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Act as a strategic advisor and key liaison between teams and senior leadership.
- Engage stakeholders, including senior leaders, to align on strategic objectives and initiatives, providing status updates, proposing recommendations for change, and influencing critical stakeholders for decisions.
- Lead and cultivate a culture of continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 8+ years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
