About the Role
The Brick Associate, Visual Merchandising enhances the in-store customer experience by creating visually appealing and strategically designed product displays. This position focuses on implementing merchandising plans that align with brand standards and seasonal campaigns to maximize product visibility and sales. The associate collaborates closely with store management and the merchandising team to ensure timely execution of visual concepts and maintain store presentation excellence. Physical tasks such as lifting and arranging merchandise are integral to the role, requiring stamina and attention to safety protocols. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to driving customer engagement and supporting the overall retail business objectives within the Canadian market.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain attractive product displays according to visual merchandising guidelines and seasonal directives.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring proper placement and stock levels.
- Collaborate with store management to adjust displays based on sales trends and promotional activities.
- Perform regular maintenance of the sales floor to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
- Lift and move merchandise and fixtures safely to facilitate display changes and inventory management.
Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Previous experience in retail or visual merchandising preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Skills
- Lifting abilities for safely handling and positioning merchandise and fixtures.
- Visual merchandising skills to creatively arrange products and enhance the shopping experience.
- Organizational skills to maintain orderly displays and manage inventory placement.
- Communication skills for collaboration with team members and management.
