About the Role
Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying the growth of Microsoft's Cloud and AI businesses. CSCP's vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale. The Microsoft Cloud Planning (MCP) team is central to this, focusing on forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning for all Microsoft Cloud services and associated hardware.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical and operational programs supporting cloud capacity planning.
- Act as the main liaison with Azure Engineering Groups, Finance, and Cloud Supply Chain for cross-functional initiatives.
- Analyze financial and organizational data to identify trends, risks, dependencies, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Initiate corrective actions to improve performance across Cloud Compute operations.
- Establish, implement, and continuously refine scalable processes, governance mechanisms, and operating procedures that enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Anticipate business challenges based on the technical engineering roadmap.
- Oversee complex projects from planning through execution, managing milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Salary/Compensations
- USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year (U.S. typical base pay range)
- USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area base pay range)
