About the Role

Lead the frameworks that guide better decisions, strengthen governance and support future growth at HCF. This role involves embedding risk management across the organisation, maintaining and improving the enterprise risk management framework, and ensuring policies and standards are practical and aligned with strategy and regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously improve HCF's enterprise risk management framework.
  • Ensure policies, standards, and risk practices are practical, fit for purpose, and aligned to strategy and regulatory obligations.
  • Bring consistency across operational, technology, data, product, and pricing risk disciplines.
  • Ensure risk management expectations are clear, well understood, and add value without creating unnecessary complexity.
  • Strengthen how risk information is captured, reported, and used across the organisation.
  • Help HCF mature its risk capability and governance practices.
  • Influence at a strategic level and partner with stakeholders across the business.
  • Find better ways to manage risk and make a genuine impact.

Requirements

  • Experienced risk professional who enjoys building practical frameworks.
  • Ability to help organisations manage risk effectively and make informed decisions.
  • Strong experience in enterprise risk management, risk frameworks, governance, or a related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory expectations and contemporary risk management practices.
  • Ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across a complex organisation.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, or enhancing risk frameworks, policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for lifting risk maturity.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical outcomes.
