About the Role
An Early Childhood Educator at Reddam ELS plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional early learning experiences for children aged 1-5 years, with a holistic focus on emotional, social, and cognitive development. The educator will nurture curiosity, independence, and a love for learning, while forming collaborative relationships with families to foster a community of trust and respect.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry-driven curriculum.
- Observe and document children’s development to support personalised learning.
- Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey.
- Work as part of a reflective, inclusive team culture.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas.
Requirements
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it).
- ACECQA-approved qualifications.
- A valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based and child-led learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Nurturing, curious, and collaborative educator who values each child’s unique potential.
- Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for early learning.
