About the Role
As a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you will be a key part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and ensure their success, and also support the management team in daily operations and meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return.
- Cover the sales floor and provide leadership support when the Manager is unavailable.
- Open and close the store as needed.
- Process sales transactions, drive add-on sales using BOPIS and curbside pickup, and close out the register.
- Understand store sales plan, comp sales goals, and key KPIs.
- Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
- Communicate fashion & music trend information to management and HQ partners.
- Work with Store Management to prevent theft.
- Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
- Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
- Perform other activities as assigned by the Store Leader.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail store experience.
- Possess strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operations skills.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Able to navigate the store, merchandise product utilizing approved store equipment, and pack and unpack boxes of merchandise that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
