About the Role

Fanatics is hiring a Program Manager to join the VIP Strategy & Operations team. This role will bring greater structure, clarity, and consistency to a fast-moving business as it scales. You will independently run programs, establish operating mechanisms, drive team cadences, improve workflows, and provide visibility into progress, risks, and decisions. This role requires someone exceptionally organized, able to manage multiple priorities, workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders. You will anticipate needs, identify gaps early, and maintain clear ownership and follow-through. You will also use data and AI tools like Claude to simplify workflows, automate recurring work, and enhance team effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Own cross-functional projects from definition through execution, including scope, milestones, owners, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Identify business needs requiring focused project ownership and build a clear plan to address them.
  • Break ambiguous priorities into clear workstreams, decisions, and action items.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders while keeping priorities and timelines clear.
  • Drive owners against commitments and follow through until actions are completed.
  • Surface risks, dependencies, and missed deadlines early and drive resolution.
  • Step into high-priority, unstructured projects as business needs emerge and independently move them forward.
  • Identify opportunities to make the team faster, clearer, and more consistent as the business scales.
  • Design and implement lightweight processes, workflows, and tools that improve execution and accountability.
  • Evaluate whether new processes are helping and simplify or adjust them when needed.
  • Define clear ownership, handoffs, and decision points where they add value.
  • Use Claude and other AI tools to automate recurring work, synthesize information, and reduce manual effort.
  • Continuously look for practical ways to improve how the team operates.
  • Own and run key team meetings across the org, including agendas, materials, decisions, and follow-up.
  • Capture clear action items, owners, and deadlines and drive them to completion after each meeting.
  • Maintain a consolidated view of team priorities, active projects, and outstanding actions.
  • Provide concise leadership updates covering progress, risks, decisions, and areas requiring attention.
  • Ensure important information and decisions are communicated clearly to the right teams.
  • Use data, dashboards, and business inputs to surface issues or opportunities the team should act on.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, consulting, business operations, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience independently owning complex projects and driving cross-functional teams to measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience building or improving processes, workflows, or operating mechanisms in prior roles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of creating clarity, maintaining rigorous follow-through, and ensuring details do not fall through the cracks.
  • Evidence of improving ways of working while keeping processes practical, lightweight, and adaptable.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated use of data to drive decisions and action.
  • Practical experience using Claude or similar AI tools to automate or improve real business workflows.
  • Excellent written communication and experience creating clear, concise updates for senior leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive accountability without formal authority.
  • High energy, low ego, and comfort taking ownership in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience in a high-growth technology, consumer, sports, gaming, or entertainment business.
  • Experience supporting senior executives or working within a Strategy & Operations organization.
