About the Role
The Outreach Coordinator assists with the promotion of Project Forward, the Agency, and its programs to the community. This role involves educating the community on healthy relationships workshops and substance use/mental health prevention services through collaboration with agency personnel and external agencies.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between the Agency and the communities it serves.
- Represent the Agency in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Assist in the promotion of the Agency through information and education about its services.
- Provide direct outreach to courts, attorneys, hospitals, probation, parole, DSS, CPS, DDP, PCPs, schools, and various other community groups, with direct referral back to the Agency and its programs.
- Represent the Agency at various community events such as conferences, trainings, fairs, and forums.
- Assist in the creation of flyers and promotional material under the direction of the director(s).
- Document and report on community contacts, including name, agency, address, and telephone number.
- Assist Intake Specialist and Program Manager with contacts made during events/engagements and document on the appropriate tracker.
- Engage with community members and schedule attendance at events or presentations about program offerings.
- Schedule indoor and outdoor events for Project Forward staff and other CNG events.
- Organize all items, flyers, and give-a-ways for all events.
- Manage or lead staff volunteers at events.
- Monitor and manage give-away supplies, notifying management when to reorder.
- Facilitate data sharing with relevant individuals for partnered decision-making and to keep clients informed of progress.
- Complete QI Training during onboarding and participate in QI refresher training as needed.
- Cultivate a culture of inclusion that respects individual strengths, views, and experiences to drive innovation and better business results.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following established safety guidelines.
- Utilize relevant knowledge or experience regarding health and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- One to four years of related human services experience required.
