About the Role
As a Gaming Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and upgrading gaming terminals, configuring kiosks, keno devices, and table games with computer interfaces to ensure continuous operation and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer satisfaction through technical support of end users by responding to and following up on support calls, work requests, and project tasks.
- Perform repairs, maintenance, upgrades, installations, and configurations of all gaming devices, including gaming terminals, kiosks, keno devices, bingo devices, and table games with computer interfaces.
- Utilize all available tools and utilities for solving user issues.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment per the Gaming Technician maintenance schedule, with assistance from Senior Level Gaming Technicians as necessary.
Requirements
- An Associate degree in Computer Science or other related technical field and/or minimum equivalent experience of three years working in an IT environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows Operating Systems, and basic networking concepts.
- Comfortable supporting command line controls and various operating systems.
- Ability to conduct basic troubleshooting of electronics.
- Ability to diagnose and analyze technical problems.
- Comfortable using power and hand tools such as crimpers, drills, soldering irons, saws, screwdrivers, multi meters and wrenches.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
