About the Role

The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems within a 237,000 square foot Class A office building.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned tasks including painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work, and general maintenance.
Maintain the work order system (CMMS) daily and complete tenant service requests.
Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.
Support on-call or emergency response situations.
Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
Comply with all safety procedures.
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
Trade school education, union training, military service, or college is desirable.
Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within the first year (with JLL assistance).
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive.
Strong customer service skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
On-site presence required.
