About the Role
Link is a digital wallet designed for effortless and secure online payments and digital transactions. Our team focuses on building delightful payment experiences and allowing our global consumer base to pay with their preferred payment methods. The work spans the entire stack from front-end experiences to infrastructure and intelligent systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and design the next generation of Stripe products to meet high-growth needs.
- Debug and solve critical production issues across services and multiple stack levels.
- Mentor engineers to support their growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build new features at large scale.
- Improve internal engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Collaborate effectively in a distributed and hybrid team, maintaining open communication and strong connections.
Requirements
- 2-10+ years of industry software engineering experience (excluding internships and co-ops).
- Strong coding skills in any programming language.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across workstreams.
- Ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Interest in working as a backend specialist across varying technologies and stacks.
- Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems.
- Good understanding and practical knowledge in cloud-based services.
- Experience with, or enthusiasm for, building with AI and agentic workflows.
