About the Role
EAC Consulting, Inc is seeking a Marketing Coordinator I to join our Business Development Department. This role is crucial for identifying and tracking business development opportunities, participating in client meetings, and developing compelling proposals and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and lead the sourcing and tracking of potential Business Development opportunities.
- Participate in Client and company BD Pursuit Meetings.
- Develop successful Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Qualifications (RFQs) in coordination with internal/external marketing and technical/engineering staff.
- Understand and comply with RFP/RFQ requirements, leading the response in coordination with the Proposal Manager.
- Develop responses to RFPs/RFQs with effective communication, verbal, and technical writing.
- Develop content for proposals and presentations based on input from engineers and BD Leaders.
- Prioritize and manage workload to ensure the completion of the BD Department's overall work.
- Implement EAC’s BD process, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) project database development and maintenance.
- Maintain marketing materials such as resumes, project descriptions, and photographs.
- Assist in company branding and social media strategy implementation.
- Represent EAC at key industry events to further the BD strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, English or related field.
- Entry-level to two (2) years of experience in business development or related experience.
- Proficiency with CRM programs or ability to achieve proficiency within six months of hire.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, or understanding that basic knowledge is needed within six months of hire.
- Knowledgeable with marketing strategies and branding.
- Familiar with the process of responding to RFQs/RLIs/RFPs or similar requests.
- Familiar with Client Resource Management systems/process.
- Good communication, verbal, and technical writing skills (writing samples required).
- Ability to develop presentations and guide effective presentation delivery.
- Ability to network and build productive internal/external relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to understand and comply with RFP/RLI requirements.
