About the Role
As a Package Room Attendant, you will play an integral role in supporting a world-class guest experience by expertly managing the flow of packages and deliveries throughout the property. Responsibilities include receiving, tracking, and safeguarding incoming shipments; providing prompt and accurate notifications to guests, event planners, and team members; and ensuring timely delivery of all items. This position also serves as the hotel's package and shipping concierge, assisting guests with outbound shipments and providing personalized service with professionalism and attention to detail synonymous with luxury hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Handle mail and packages with care: Retrieve and distribute guest mail, small packages, and documents upon request
- Manage incoming communication: Answer phone calls, take messages, and relay information promptly and accurately
- Delight our guests: Assist with directions, local recommendations, and general information as needed to enhance the guest experience
Requirements
- This position is part of the Local 6 Union which requires complete open availability.
- We cannot accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours are not guaranteed.
- Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established.
- You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.
