About the Role
As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you’re passionate about people and their pets. You will provide exceptional, neighborly service, engage with customers, and handle various store duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, neighborly service to customers and their pets.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate products like toys, food, and harnesses.
- Educate customers on pet ownership and care.
- Stock shelves and process customer purchases.
- Feed and maintain the cleanliness of animal habitats.
- Unload delivery trucks using proper equipment.
- Carry purchases to customers' cars.
- Provide care for pets in the store, including cleaning, feeding, and handling.
- Answer customer questions on animal care.
- Support team members by providing backup when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of animals and products to provide outstanding service.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Must pass a drug screening (in applicable states).
