About the Role
EF Language Abroad is seeking ESL teachers for its Tarrytown, New York campus, with immediate openings and for the Winter Term starting in January. The role offers various teaching schedules and provides resources and curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Teach scheduled contact hours as directed by Academic Management.
- Deliver high-quality classes utilizing the EF blended learning program.
- Complete administrative tasks for classes in a timely manner.
- Prepare necessary class materials, including handouts, quizzes, tests, and assignments.
- Assist students with inquiries and escalate issues to appropriate departments.
- Actively participate in teacher meetings and staff development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- TEFL certificate (CELTA or equivalent preferred).
- Proficient level English (C2 level).
- Experience with standardized ESL exams (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge) is a plus.
