About the Role
The Cashier at The Golf Mart is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy. This role ensures guest satisfaction at the service desk and proper control of all cash and media materials.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, ensuring the customer's last shopping experience is positive.
- Process information and merchandise through the computer and POS register system.
- Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment.
- Recognize and suggest ways to improve processes once fully trained.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.
- Ability to access all store areas, including sales floor, stock area, and register area.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crawl, climb, crouch, kneel, and climb a ladder.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
