About the Role
You will be responsible for building AI-powered marketing infrastructure, leveraging a strong brand foundation, and driving inbound lead generation to outpace outbound efforts. This role is focused on taking existing marketing assets to the next level, assessing performance, optimizing channels, and building a robust inbound engine.
Responsibilities
- Audit and evaluate existing vendor relationships, determining value and making decisions on optimization or replacement.
- Amplify existing SEO efforts and expand into new inbound channels to generate pipeline.
- Run website experiments to improve pricing page layout, time-on-site, and conversion rates.
- Translate the company's story into clear, high-value narratives for IT decision makers.
- Build and enforce brand consistency across all touchpoints, including AI-generated content, email signatures, and sales collateral.
- Enable the sales team to self-serve pre-approved, on-brand content.
- Own marketing KPIs and performance reporting, analyzing historical data to identify growth opportunities.
- Build reporting that clearly demonstrates performance and guides future investment.
- Leverage AI tooling for content generation, traffic analysis, workflow automation, and performance optimization.
- Drive content strategy, including case studies and social posting, to build domain reputation.
- Own demand generation strategy, messaging, positioning, growth infrastructure, content, experimentation, and performance reporting.
- In the first 30-90 days: audit vendors, branding, and inbound performance; analyze SEO progress; establish KPIs; identify channel expansion opportunities; and measure success by workflows transformed.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of marketing experience in a services-oriented business.
- Experience in HR tech, PEOs, HRIS systems, or recruiting tools is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use data for decision-making and prove channel performance before scaling.
- Experience managing or evaluating external vendors.
- Deep hands-on familiarity with SEMrush, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Webflow, Clay, Apollo, and Google My Business.
- Understanding of how SEO, content, social, and sales enablement connect.
- Sales-led thinking with a focus on SQLs over impressions.
- Experience running marketing operations with AI as core infrastructure.
- Intellectual curiosity and an analytical mindset for fact-checking messaging and understanding business accuracy.
- Comfortable being a one to two-person function initially and owning output personally.
- Background in HR tech, PEOs, HRIS systems, or recruiting tools is a plus.
- Experience building sales enablement content and training sales teams.
- Familiarity with building AI-powered marketing infrastructure from scratch.
- Experience managing a marketing function through rapid company growth.
